Shahrukh Khan's Next With YRF In April
Shahrukh Khan's next film with the prestigious banner Yash Raj Films is all set to go on floors in April. Yash Chopra, in all probability, will direct the film in question. According to the grapevine, the gorgeous Katrina Kaif has been roped in to play the female lead opposite the King Khan. However, no official confirmation was available on this project. Previously, Shahrukh Khan had worked with the production house in a number of successful films, the last being 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', in which he was paired opposite Anushka Sharma.
Ileana impresses Shankar in '3 IDIOTS'
Ileana has joined the shoot of remake of ' 3 Idiots '. She flew down to Coimbatore from Hyderabad and began shooting for the movie from Monday (January 31, 2011). Shankar is currently filming scenes of a wedding and he was impressed with Ileana's gorgeous looks in bridal attire. Shankar is filming scenes that don't require the 'hero'. Tamil actor Surya has suddenly walked out of the project. So, Shankar convinced Vijay as hero for the movie in the Tamil version. And lets wait for our Prince Mahesh to make official statement
MIRCHI in Pune
Once leading producer M S Raju has slowed down now after couple of setbacks. He has taken up production and direction once again. This time he directs his son Sumanth Ashwin. The film’s shooting began on Friday (Jan 28, 2011) in Pune. Two debutant heroines are playing opposite Sumanth in the film. Mirchi is the title under consideration for this movie.
Pawan's Lovely in Miami
Pawan Kalyan, Trisha’s film tentatively titled Lovely will be shot in Miami, Florida in the last week of February. Jayant C Paranjee is directing this film which is a remake of Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone starrer Love Aaj Kal. Ganesh Babu is producing the Telugu remake under Parameshwari Arts banner. The film was recently shot in South Africa and Hyderabad. Now, the film unit will travel to Miami, Florida to shoot a song sequence. Only 15 members including the leads are expected to travel to the US for this song sequence. Harish Pai is going to choreograph the song which will be wrapped up in a week. Pawan Kalyan will be seen in two different roles in the film and Kriti Kharbanda is playing an important role in the film.
RGV's 'Dongala Mutha' = 'Paranormal Activity'?
Ram Gopal Varma is usually known for his original ideas though some of them are inspirations from Hollywood. This time, the buzz is about his new movie ‘Dongala Mutha’ and going by what Ramu says, if it gets executed like that then it sure will rewrite the history of film making.
For now, it is heard that ‘Dongala Mutha’ is basically a copy. Most of the film will be happening inside a home and it is heard that the inspiration for that has come from the scary Hollywood thriller ‘Paranormal Activity’ which is directed by Oren Peli.
The mystery is, whether Ramu will induce a horror element in this or cook up a regular thriller like his ‘Kaun’. If it’s a copy of ‘Paranormal Activity’ then what form of nativity elements will be included for the Telugu audience to connect is another question. Some other say that it is going to be an out and out comedy thriller. We have to wait and see what it is actually.
The film is going to be a trend setter in India Cinema for several fold reasons. They are as follows:
1. It will be shot in just five days with a unit of 8 members. (Usually, a film is shot in 100 to 150 days with a unit of over 150- 200 members).
2. Budget = 0 Rupess, none of the cast and crew will be paid for working for the film. If the film makes profit, only then they will be paid (accordingly).
3. Film will be release is just a month of its launch. Launch is scheduled on February 11 and release on March 11.
Shriya to College Students
Shriya might come across as the striking beauty alone but then she does have substance when she starts speaking. This was seen recently at a college function where Shriya was invited to share her thoughts. The pretty girl gave few lessons to the college students and stole their hearts.
Giving punch dialogues from Rajinikanth’s ‘Sivaji’, Shriya took off and covered various topics such as importance of films in education, the need for pan Indian audience for film viewing. She also recalled her personal front and spoke about her nephew, her eternal love for dance.
Last but not the least, Shriya also gave a message to the students on piracy. She gave element of terrorism to piracy and while the variety education was there to the students, the pretty girl also made sure that not many personal questions were entertained.

Chiru aims Central Cabinet berth
The Congress high command on Monday is believed to have offered a berth to Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi in the Manmohan Singh cabinet at the Centre if his party comes to the rescue of Kiran Kumar Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh.
Antony, who flew down to Hyderabad in a special aircraft on Monday afternoon and had a meeting with Chiranjeevi, put forth the Central cabinet berth proposal before him. This is besides four cabinet berths to the PRP in the state and a couple of MLC seats in the next council elections.
Sources said Antony conveyed a message from party president Sonia Gandhi, inviting Chiranjeevi into the Congress party, instead of just joining the government. The PRP president, while assuring to extend support to the Kiran government to provide the stability, did not make any commitment on merging the PRP with the Congress party, sources said.
"Robo" Collects Rs.47 Crores
Sun Group has released the official collection figures of sensational hit ‘robot’ that was released some four months ago. Starring Super Star Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai, this movie is released in three languages simultaneously viz. Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
Sun Group’s press release announced that their company earned total revenue of Rs.179 Crores on ‘robot’ including Rs.15 Crores expected from Satellite rights while they have spent Rs.132 Crores on Production of this movie which means a total profit of Rs.47 Crores on this risky project. Better that none of the other producers in near future take this kind of high risk on an experimental subject. It is undoubtedly the star power of Rajinikanth that has done the trick.
Ram Charan Needs Something like "Anthapuram"

Arunodoy('Mirch' fame) and Aditi Roy('Delhi 6' fame) shot for 22 overall kisses in Sudhir Mishra's releasing movie 'Yeh Saali Zindagi'. Breaking record of bombshell Mallika.
"If we are showing a couple in love, I'd rather show them kissing at a moment when they should be kissing, than have them dancing and shaking their hips to a song", Director Sudhir Mishra said on Arunodoya-Aditi kisses.
"Aditi and Arunodoy play a young couple based in Delhi. They kiss every time they quarrel. And they quarrel a lot," says Mishra.
Mishra's memory freezes the figure at "around 20 or 22". A kiss is a far more aesthetic and natural expression of love than hip-shaking, believes the director.
The censorboard, is already upset over the film's title, is unlikely to take gently to the the avalanche of smooches.
"I am not bothered. If the censors think kissing is evil, I'll ask them to get a reality check. We can't manage with flowers quivering on screen. The audience will guffaw at us!" says Mishra.
Jr. NTR in Marriage Shock

Pawan Vs RGV
Ram Gopal Varma is one man who is known for his point blank statements and though his frankness is appreciated, there are times when his lines tend to get over the line. It is heard that recently he passed a comment on Pawan Kalyan's new banner 'Pawan Kalyan Creative Works' and asked how it can be creative when Pawan is doing a remake.
Now, it is heard that the power star will be replying to this in his own way. Well, he is reportedly coming up with a new movie which is more in an experimental genre and it will not have any songs. Sources close to Pawan reveal that this would define the word 'creative' in his banner and will also answer the criticisms. Only time will tell whether it will be Pawan or RGV.
Chiranjeevi in media business
Chiranjeevi has plans to launch a TV channel and a daily news paper. According to sources, the electronic and print media which will be launched soon will support the activities of his political party Praja Rajyam. It will also further the film business conducted by his family members Allu Aravind and Naga Babu. Soon Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan Tej will also turn into film producers.
Chiranjeevi is said to have finalised in taking over an existing TV channel and the deal will be inked soon. A separate media firm is being floated by members of Chiranjeevi family to operate the TV channel. However, the daily news paper will be launched by Praja Rajyam Party and run by it.
The names of the TV channel and the daily news paper have not yet been finalised.
Jr.NTR and Raviteja fights for Title
Director Surendar Reddy had announced a film 'Rachcha' with junior but it is now heard that the title was already booked by Sampath Nandi of 'Yemaindhi Ee Vela' fame. Now, Sampath is busy working on that and wants to do a film with Raviteja. Now, the cine folks are saying that both Sampath and Surendar are working things out and the title is causing a bit of disturbance. However, since Sampath has already registered the title, the chances are that Surendar might choose a new one. Only time will tell who will get the title now.

Bolly sources say that Salman Khan insisted his brother to offer the rights for only those who can make out a better product with top hero in their respective fields.Apparently Telugu rights were sold instantly when Sallu Bhai came to know that pawan kalyan is finalized for the project. Although Tamil producers are still wooing the Khan Brothers, now it is heard that Salman Khan is keeping an eye on the perfection of Pawan and the way he is modifying the script to judge the capability of a hero technician. Internal sources say that, by now Salman could have already got a shock knowing the power of Power Star in Tollywood much before the start of shooting.

The shooting of Nagarjuna's 'Rajanna' is currently going on in Hyderabad in a well decorated set. It is going to be an unofficial Rajamouli's film. Earlier it was announced that Rajamouli would be directing a few scenes. But as per the sources, the entire direction department has been taken over by Rajamouli. Also, he is trying to become too much perfectionist and he is not leaving the actors unless he gets the kind of output that he is looking for. For some shots, he went for more than 15 takes on Nagarjuna and Sneha before finalizing the right shot.
Rajnikanth
After setting the box office on fire with Endhiran, the Robo, superstar Rajinikanth has decided to act in Raana movie that will be directed by KS Ravi Kumar. Actually Rajini and Ravi Kumar teamed up to do a half hour live action sequence in animated movie Hara. But the duo has decided to go with Rana now.
Rajinikanth will be playing triple role in Raana, as per the news sources. It will be co-produced by Eros International and Ocher studios. Rana is a trilingual and will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
AR Rahman scores the music and Ratnavelu handles the camera for Raana. The technical and special effects director will be Soundarya Rajnikanth and Charles Darby of Eyeqube Studios. Editing will be done by Anthony and art director is Rajeevan. Raana is expected be launched in March and will be ready for release in 2012.
Roja tempting Naidu
Actress-turned-politician and former Telugu Mahila president R Roja has been in the news almost on a daily basis after she joined the camp of former Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Though she has been maintaining a lot of restraint in criticizing her her old boss, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, she is now compelled to provoke him of late, ostensibly to take on the Congress government headed by N Kiran Kumar Reddy, so that it would benefit her new boss, Jagan.
Roja has demanded that the TDP president should move a no-confidence motion against the Congress government, which has plunged into minority. “I don’t know why Naidu is hesitating to move a non-trust motion against Kiran government, which has failed on all fronts. Instead of exposing Kiran govenrment’s failures, Naidu is targeting Jagan. It appears Naidu is hand in glove with Kiran in attacking Jagan,” Roja said.
Well, Naidu will not be tempted to fall into Roja’s trap, as he has his own plans.
RAM to RAMCHARAN
Doubts are rising whether Ramcharan will be replacing Ram in the new film to be directed by Karunakaran and produced by Parachuri Sivaram Prasad. The reason for that is the news which made unofficial rounds in the print, web and electronic media.
Karunakaran is quite close to the mega family for the fact that he came up with the direction of ‘Tholi Prema’ followed by ‘Balu’ with Pawan Kalyan and this was followed by ‘Happy’ with Allu Arjun. Right now, the attention is on the buzz that ‘Merupu’ is almost on the verge of getting cancelled and one can recall that ‘Merupu’s director Dharani directed the flop film ‘Bangaram’ with Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Agarwal has been roped in as the heroine for ‘Merupu’.
After having shot the introduction song on Ramcharan, the shooting didn’t take off and Kajal had to back out of the film. Though there is news that Kajal’s place has been taken by Shahzahn Padamsee, more reliable news is that the film is stopped completely.
Under this situation, grapevine is making rounds that Ram might be sidelined carefully and his place might be given to Ramcharan Tej. Let us see what happens.

Recently, a survey was taken at the famous National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and students were asked on whom they would want to have sex when it comes to celebrities in Tollywood. As for the girls, the first place went to Nagarjuna as they fantasize a lot about him.
Nag is followed by Prabhas and then Mahesh Babu. As for the boys, most of them want to have sex with Shriya, next in the list is Kajal Agarwal followed by Anushka. The surprising twist is that there were quite a few who mentioned about Kriti Kharbanda as well. Beauty sure makes its presence folks.

Aamir Khan'S - Bombay Velvet
Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan has now attracted attention of the Western filmmakers. Danny Boyle has roped in Aamir Khan as the central character in his forthcoming venture 'Bombay Velvet'. The film will go on floors a year from now. The British filmmaker will collaborate with Anurag Kashyap for the film in question. Touted to be a retro film, it will be the most expensive film ever made in Hindi cinema. And it will have a lot of physical detailing from the 1960s. However, neither Aamir Khan nor his close aides were available for comment on the matter.

‘3 Idiots’ Telugu under progress
Remake of ‘3 Idiots’ silently rolls on. Director Shankar has begun the film’s shooting last week in Ooty in Tamilnadu. From Saturday, shooting begins in Kodaikanal. As Surya adjusted his dates, the film silently has begun shooting. From Jan 30, Ileana will join the shoot.
Gemini Film Circuit is producing it in Telugu and Tamil with the same star cast. Shankar wanted to shoot both the versions differently with two different lead stars (Mahesh in Telugu and Vijay in Tamil) but it didn’t work out. So Surya stepped in and the star could convince Murugadoss to adjust his dates for this film. Thus the film went to the sets.
Haaris Jayaraj is providing the music, while Abburi Ravi is providing dialogue for Telugu version. Manoj Paramahamsa (of Ye Maaya Chesave fame) is the cinematographer.
Allu Arjun Marriage Date
Actor Allu Arjun’s marriage with Sneha Reddy will be held on March 6, 2011.
According to sources, Allu Arjun’s parents are taking every care to keep the wedding venue secret and are busy with his wedding arrangements.
His parents are naturally concerned about the wedding being gate-crashed by uninvited fans of the actor, hence the secrecy.
Earlier, the stylish actor himself had revealed that he plans to purchase some sets of clothes from famous international designers for his wedding. He had also revealed that he has ordered a special wedding attire from a Delhi-based designer. Allu Arjun had also informed that his family prefers most of the traditional stuff to be used at his wedding to be bought at Hyderabad.
Allu Arjun, who got engaged on November 26 with Sneha Reddy, is currently working on the film ‘Badrinath’ under the direction of VV Vinayak.
It is learnt that he has even grown his hair and toned his physique for his character in Badrinath. The film is expected to hit screens on March 27, 2011.
Mahesh - Dookudu
Mahesh Babu’s latest movie Dookudu has finished thirty percent of filming to date. The film’s fresh schedule will start from February 1st in Guajrat. Dookudu has completed shooting in Malaysia and Turkey in the previous schedules. Some part of Hyderabad schedule was finished too.
Samantha is paired up with Mahesh Babu in Dookudu and Srinu Vytla is directing this movie on 14 Reels entertainment banner. Anil Sunkara is the producer. Dhookudu is a commercial film with right amounts of comedy and action laced in, says the director.
The latest musical sensation of Tollywood, Thaman SS is scoring music for this movie. Thaman is riding high on the success of Brindavanam and Mirapakaya at the moment. Mahesh Babu is on a mission to complete Dookudu at the earliest and will move onto Puri Jagannadh’s The Businessman.
Manchu Lakshmi
Manchu Lakshmi, who shot to fame with Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu is all set to play a lead role in one of her future productions. A debutante director Kumar has narrated a script to Lakshmi for which she immediately gave positive nod.
Titled Gundello Godari, this film is expected to be launched in a couple of months. Manchu Lakshmi will produce this film too. Meanwhile, she is launching her second film with Manoj soon. Raja is making his directorial debut with this film titled Oo Kodathara Ulikkipadathara.
PAWAN's - BILLA
Pawan Kalyan, who has been on a signing spree these days is currently busy in wrapping up the balance work of Lovely (Love Aaj Kal remake) movie. Then the power star will move on to Gabbar Singh (Dabangg remake) which is also being produced by Pawan Kalyan.
The actor is so very interested in Gabbar Singh that he has given it the first priority. Pawan Kalyan was supposed to start shooting for director Vishnuvardhan’s film in February. This film is touted to be a prequel to Billa. Vishnuvardhan is planning to make this film in Tamil with Ajith and in Telugu with Pawan.
But with the sudden entry of Gabbar Singh in Pawan Kalyan’s list, Vishnu’s film was pushed back. Is it just for a time being or completely put off? Only time will tell.

Gopichand’s Wanted movie is out in theatres and the initial reports are not so encouraging. Now the actor moves on to do his next film known that it will be directed by Krishna Vamsi. Producer Nallamalupu Bujji who produced Lakshyam movie with Gopichand is producing it.
Krishna Vamsi has been out of work since many days but not out of news. His name constantly popped up in the media with the speculations that he is going to do a film with so and so hero. But now Gopichand is likely to do Krishna Vamsy’s next film.

Sunil'S APPALRAJU Date announced
Ram Gopal Varma’s Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalraju is all set to release on FEB 4th. A brochure of this film is released few days back with the character descriptions. Ram Gopal Varma’s sarcasm and direct references to few popular celebrities of Telugu cinema in that brochure has shocked the industry.
Ram Gopal Varma is making fun of some of the popular Telugu film industry and also taking digs at media persons. Appalraju is sure going to send shivers down many spines with the hard hitting satires. We don’t know what would be the character intensity on screen, but at the moment the brochure is doing enough damage to the ‘targeted’ people image.
Ram Charan'S 'Gang Leader'
Ram Charan is gearing up to surprise his fans by doing a film with the title Gang Leader, the film with which his father Chiranjeevi has set box office on fire in nineties. However, it is yet to be known whether only the title of it is being used or is this a modern version remake to Gang Leader.
Reports say that Puri is looking at coming up with ‘Gang Leader’ and that too with Ramcharan in the lead.However, it is not sure whether the story will be a remake of the original hit or a new one. Given Puri’s thought process, the cine folks say he should be coming up with a new story that fits the image of Charan. Let us wait to hear a formal confirmation on this but for now, the thought of Charan with Puri for ‘Gang Leader’ sure sounds exciting to the mega fans.
Maganti Ramjee son of Maganti Ravindranadh Chowdary is planning to produce Gang Leader with Ram Charan. Ravindranadh is the producer of Chiranjeevi’s GL. Ramji is currently producing Mirchi movie with MS Raju’s son Sumanth Ashwin. Even though Ramji is boasting of it there is no sign or indication from Ram Charan about Gang Leader project.
Mega fans are hoping for this film to take shape as Gang Leader title itself can set the cash registers ringing.
Ramcharan'S New Project
Karunakaran, who made BALU, Tholi Prema with Pawan in past is trying to get Ramcharan’s dates for his next story.
Karunakaran earlier planned to get charan for his Darling movie, but since charan was engaged with Magadheera for long time, that story went to Prabhas.
Now he is planning a movie with title Edure Ledu with Charan and Tamanna in lead roles.
Paruchuri Sivaramaprasad is to be the producer.

Story:
Rambabu (Gopichand) is the young man who has no job at all. Peculiarly, his parents (Chandramohan and Jayasudha) also encourage their son to stay only at home and eat without doing any job. Accidentally he falls in love with a medico Nandini (Deeksha Seth) who has a secret mission. Although she is a medical student, her flash back pushes her to do certain activities secretly. What are those activities? That is a facet of heroine.
Eventually Nandini uses Rambabu’s love on her to take vengeance on the criminals those made her family an ash. What is the vengeance and who put an end to her family?
There comes Basivi Reddy (Prakash Raj), a rugged gangster who killed Nandini’s family members. Hence he faces trouble from Rambabu as a part of Nandini’s revenge. What happens next is an easy guess.
Performances:
Gopichand is fine with his habitual performance. There is a humor line in his characterization and he carried that well.
Deeksha Seth is just there for some glamour but that glamour is not exploited well. She has to get trained in the aspect of performance and expressions.
Jayasudha and Chandramohan are ok in their roles. Barhmanandam’s comedy is weak.
Prakash Raj’s character lacks depth. Nazar’s role is impressive.
Coming to technical aspects, cinematography scores good marks. Music is average. Story is good, screenplay is bad and dialogues are ok.

Accidentally he falls in love with a medico Nandini (Deeksha Seth) who has a secret mission. Although she is a medical student, her flash back pushes her to do certain activities secretly. What are those activities? That is a facet of heroine.
Eventually Nandini uses Rambabu’s love on her to take vengeance on the criminals those made her family an ash. What is the vengeance and who put an end to her family?
There comes Basivi Reddy (Prakash Raj), a rugged gangster who killed Nandini’s family members. Hence he faces trouble from Rambabu as a part of Nandini’s revenge. What happens next is an easy guess.
Performances:
Gopichand is fine with his habitual performance. There is a humor line in his characterization and he carried that well.
Deeksha Seth is just there for some glamour but that glamour is not exploited well. She has to get trained in the aspect of performance and expressions.
Jayasudha and Chandramohan are ok in their roles. Barhmanandam’s comedy is weak.
Prakash Raj’s character lacks depth. Nazar’s role is impressive.
Coming to technical aspects, cinematography scores good marks. Music is average. Story is good, screenplay is bad and dialogues are ok.

Rao Ramesh Escapes from Death @ Badrinath Shooting
Character artist Rao Ramesh, son of Rao Gopala Rao had a miraculous escape from death recently @ the shooting of Allu Arjun Starrer “Badrinath” while he was shooting for a crucial action sequence on a massive set of Takshasila. It’s heard that he fell at a distance when Kelly Dorjee hit him. Also a huge torch fell just a few inches away from Rao Ramesh’s head. However, he survived with minor injuries but the entire unit was worried about the accident which later proved to be a rebirth for Rao Ramesh.
‘Badrinath’ starring Allu Arjun and Tamanna as lead pair is being directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Allu Aravind under Geeta Arts banner. The film is said to be releasing some time in February.
