Mahesh Babu is currently in Mumbai shooting for his upcoming film Dookudu. A song is being canned there under Raju Sundaram choreography. This is a ten day schedule in which a small action episode will also be shot within a short time.
Dookudu audio is expected to release on May 31st on the occasion of Superstar Krishna’s birthday. There is no confirmation from the producers regarding the audio release date.

Richa Gangopadhyay to romance Mahesh Babu in Mani Rathnam movie! Yes! Richa Gangopadhyay and Mahesh Babu will now share screen space in Mani Rathnam movie. Previously it was Anushka who was playing heroine but now its Richa Gangopadhyay beside Mahesh Babu in Mani Rathnam movie.

Anushka, who sizzled opposite the charming Prince in Khaleja is all set to play the role of his younger sister in Mani Ratnam’s historical movie. Titled Ponniyin Selvan in Tamil, this movie is yet to be named in Telugu.
Mahesh Babu will share screen with Tamil actors Vijay and Arya who are also playing the lead roles in Ponniyin Selvan. Anushka would play Vijay’s love interest and the heroine for Mahesh is yet to be decided.
Anushka Shetty is reportedly playing the role of Kundavai Pirattiyar aka Kundavai in the film. She will be the daughter of Sundara Chola, which will be played by Sathyaraj in Ponniyin Selvan. Mahesh Babu is enacting Arulmozhi Varman's character, whereas Aarya will portray Aditya Karikalan's role in the film.

Ram Gopal Varma doesn’t bother a bit about the flak that his latest release Dongala Mutha has been receiving. He says that it is a huge hit for its budget and has already moved on to his next.

The class hero Sumanth has now arrived in a commercial formula treat and this time he has enough ammunition in the form of the heroines Priyamani and Vimala Raman. Let us see how the film is.
Story
Raaj (Sumanth) is a fashion photographer. He loves Priya (Vimala Raman) but he loses her whereabouts and reluctantly gets married to Mythili (Priyamani). But he is unable to tell Mythili about Priya and finds it difficult to adjust with her.
However, things change and they get close. Just when things look to settle, Raj sees Priya. He decides to ask her why she left him without a word and lies to Mythili that he is going to London. Who is Priya? Why does she leave Raaj without a word? What happens to Raaj-Mythili’s relation after Priya’s arrival? All this forms the rest of the story.
Performance
Given his sophisticated looks, Sumanth is a total misfit to this character. He failed in romance, fights, dance and looked disinterested while enacting the emotional scenes. Despite having strong steamy scenes with Priyamani, Vimala Rama he could not deliver that chemistry.
Priyamani goes totally extreme in her skin show and does justice to her remuneration. To be frank, the film will receive any response only due to her severe exposing. However, she should have taken care in the make up and costumes department. Some scenes make her look like a C-grade heroine.
Vimala Raman did her best to ooze glamour but she couldn’t get past Priyamani. But she scored better than Priyamani in the makeup, costumes departments. The flip side is the dubbing for Vimala which reminded of a monotonous TV artist. Already, her performance is weak and the dubbing put her in negative scale.

Analysis
Despite many attempts, it is clear that Sumanth fits the best for classy roles and is a total misfit for commercial and mass roles.
Either he is being misguided or he is not aware of his own limitations. If only he stuck to classy roles and sophisticated image, he would have got the backing of select audience and could have made his career as a minimum guarantee hero.
‘Raaj’ is one of those masterpieces which belong to the category of torturing the audience in every scene and camera movement.
Right from first scene, the audience goes through third degree torture and becomes a victim of the director’s creativity. The film reminds many of a C-grade Malayalam movie and if you thought that tsunamis happen only in the seas, ‘Raaj’ will give you the experience in cinema theatre.
Bottomline: Beware!! It is a dangerous torture and Must avoid it!!

Junior NTR SHAKTI will be hitting screens on March 30th, 2011 and the arrangements are being made for the movie release on a grand scale. Producer Aswini Dutt has poured in Rs 45 cr into this project, which is being directed by Meher Ramesh. If sources are to be believed, Aswini Dutt has failed to convince the film distributors in Nizam area.
SHAKTI promos reveal that this movie is a copy of director SS Rajamouli’s ‘Magadheera’ and so, many distributors are not inclined to stepping ahead to buy it. Moreover, ‘ Magadheera’ faced similar problems and so producer Allu Arjun distributed himself the movie and promoted it exclusively in Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna owned MAA TV, which earned the movie some respectable collections.
Similar SHAKTI needs something like this to promote the movie on a grand scale and it is impossible for Aswini Dutt to create the same hype. So, the nizam area distributors are doubtful about SHAKTI’s performance. Ironically, some days ago Telugu news Channel (NTV) published that SHAKTI distribution rights were sold like hot cakes and that too for an astronomical amount.
But now, Ashwini Dutt has cleared that it was a fake news article and the distribution rights will be sold only after the actual budget is carved out and the first copy of SHAKTI is in his hands.
Director Meher Ramesh started SHAKTI with a quotation of just Rs 38 crores. But the movie now has an investment of Rs 45 cr’s approximately. The music of the film SHAKTI is not upto the mark and this is a fact.
Aswini Dutt appeared tensed on this issue and he was seen with red eyes and puffed up face at the Sangeeth ceremony of Allu Arjun.

Hero Pawan Kalyan who was talking about acting in ‘Satyagrahi’ earlier, was silent about the project for quite some time. He has chalked up plans to start off with his dream project 'Satyagrahi' which has been close to his heart since quite a while. The film was originally planned to be produced by A.M. Rathnam. Reports said that the film would be produced and directed by Pawan Kalyan himself, under the banner of Creative Works.
Pavan is right now busy acting in ‘Tees Maar’ and ‘Gabbar Singh.’ It is not yet known who would be his heroines in ‘Satyagrahi.’ Pavan is producing ‘Gabbar Singh’ under the banner of Creative Works and reports indicate that he would produce ‘Satya Grahi’ also under the same banner. If the industry talk is to be believed, Pavan Kalyan is handing over the total responsibility of producing ‘Satyagrahi’ to his wife Renu Desai. We have to wait for some more time to know who would actually complete the film and take it to the theatres.
Pawan is keen to direct the film since the subject is close to his heart. The script is 75 percent ready. Pawan is now giving finishing touches to the script. If all goes as per plan, then the film will hit the floors early next year.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ forthcoming film ‘Mr Perfect’ directed by Dasarath is closer to completion. The audio of the film will be launched on 19th of March.
Dil Raju, the producer of the film said that they are planning the audio launch at CBIT Engineering College in Hyderabad amidst Prabhas’ fans and college students.
The film is said to be youthful family entertainer set in the backdrop of college. Prabhas will be seen in a new trendy look and Kajal Agarwal and Taapsee Pannu played the leading ladies. Post-Production works are currently going on.
Other cast of the film includes K Viswanath, Prakash Raj, Murali Mohan, Brahmanandam, Nassar, Sayaji Shinde, Raghu Babu, Master Bharat, Pragathi, Rajitha, Benarjee and Raja Ravindra.

Ram Charan who is yet to start a film after the debacle of Orange has announced that he will do three films back to back in the coming days. “This gap is not desired, but it is a blessing in disguise. I would be working round the clock in the coming days, so I’m enjoying this gap,” Charan said.
The actor will start Sampath Nandi’s film as his immediate assignment. This is an out and out mass entertainer and is being produced by Mega Supergood films. Charan has also agreed to do a film under VV Vinayak direction.
Vinayak, Ram Charan movie will kick start in July. More details about this film are awaited. Vinayak will start working on Charan’s film once he is done with Allu Arjun’s Badrinath movie.

Story:
The name of NTR in this movie is Shakthi. He works as security officer and in National Security Force. He will be appointed as Security Guard to Ileyana. Tamil actor Prabhu is head of this National Security Force. Ileyana is his daughter. Ileyana is good devotee and she likes to visit all temples in India. Due to security problem her father Prabhu will not give her permission to visit temples. But Ileyana wont agrees with her father's word and finally decides to visit temples across India. Finally, Prabhu agrees with Ileyana and asks Jr NTR to go with her as security.
NTR and Ileyana faces lot of problems in their journey. Unknown people attacks on them and tries to kill them. Jr NTR fights with them and saves Ileyana. But again some unknown people attacks on them. But now NTR understands that they are not attacking Ileyana, but they are targeting him. Then comes to interval.
Flash back comes after Interval. Jr NTR will be seen as Rudra in flash back. Rudra was king of a kingdom where lies some powerful Shakthi Peetam. Rudra protects these Shakthi Peetam from villians. But, gangsters tries to steal them and wants to become powerful persons in the world. Finally, Rudra dies in this war.
Later, Shakthi who belongs to same family decides to save Shakthi Peetam from Villians. How he fights and save it from Villains is rest of the story.
Jr NTR is supposed to appear in 4 different getup's in this movie. He will be seen as Security officer, Shakthi get up, Rudra Get up and as a King.

Poonam has now been roped in for a Tamil film wherein she will be seen as the sister to the hero, as per sources. Allu Sirish Leaked Pawan Kalyan's "PRIVATE" Secret in Twitter.Many have been wondering why Pawan Kalyan was not seen in Allu Arjun’s ‘pelli koduku function’ or ‘sangeet’ event. Some opined that he must be busy abroad in some shooting but others have bitten ears stating that there are some family clashes between Pawan Kalyan, Nagababu and Chiranjeevi.
