Deepika says "NO" to Pawan

He may be powerstar for everyone but for her he is powerless.Hot beauty Deepika Padukone dashed all the dreams of Pawan Kalyan when she outright rejected him and refused to act opposite him.Pawan tried hard to make her act in his Love Aaj Kal remake but since she couldn’t adjust her dates, the role went to Trisha.

Our powerstar again tried to atleast convince her for an item song in his film through Jayant as he enjoys her confidence, but she again rejected since she already did an item song for his film Love Forever. She even shouted at him that he did not even release the film though she did a song for him which she felt unnecessary.

Poonam Kaur becomes Vishal's sister

The general trend in films is that if an actress performs a particular role then she gets to be tagged into that category. Right now, something like that seems to be happening with Poonam Kaur. Well, this sexy heroine recently came up as an airhostess in the movie Gaganam but here is another update.

Poonam has now been roped in for a Tamil film wherein she will be seen as the sister to the hero, as per sources. Well, this happens to be the remake of the Telugu hit Souryam which had Gopichand, Anushka in the lead and Poonam did the role of the favourite sister. The Tamil version will have Vishal and Sameera Reddy in the lead.

This is being directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Shreya Reddy. Meanwhile, news is that the makers are also looking at roping in a hot item girl for doing a special appearance. In all this, let us see how Poonam will make her presence felt as the sister for the second time.

Pawan Klayan "p" Secret Leaked

Allu Sirish Leaked Pawan Kalyan's "PRIVATE" Secret in Twitter. Many have been wondering why Pawan Kalyan was not seen in Allu Arjun’s ‘pelli koduku function’ or ‘sangeet’ event. Some opined that he must be busy abroad in some shooting but others have bitten ears stating that there are some family clashes between Pawan Kalyan, Nagababu and Chiranjeevi. Although Nagababu was not seen in the event his wife and son were seen with smiling faces.

But supporting the suspicions on family clashes in Chiru family, Allu Sirish gave a tweet like this.

Kalyan is very private, doesn’t attend too many functions. We invited him though. Assured he will come for the wedding.

That means Pawan Kalyan bunked the events intentionally. What is the point of ‘Kalyan is very private’? Is Mahesh Babu not a privacy loving guy? Venkatesh also appears hardly in public functions. But they have attended the event. It is needless to say that Chiru family is failing to project family unity in many occasions.

Anushka Romancing in real life with a Young Hero

When someone portrayed the same kind of stuff in his latest flop flick, indicating the characters indirectly, industry is angry with him. But this is surely an eye opener for the realistic things happening in the Film Industry.

On the other day, a bunch of film buffs are returning from a midnight show in popular Cinemax theatre before ramming their bikes on the posh roads of Jubilee Hills. All of a sudden, a costly greyish black RangeRover SUV has crossed them in a jet speed and decreased their chances of crossing it. Angered motorcyclist found their time to overtake it and the Rangerover was brought to a sudden stop. The bike riders were amazed all of a sudden! The guy in the driving seat is none other than young hero Naga Chaitanya. A look into the side seat revealed sexy heroine Anushka in inebriated condition, falling on the shoulder of Chaitu. When our shocked bike riding bluffs dropped their jaws, Chaitu managed to ramm his vehicle leaving no sight of him in seconds. What a say folks? Are the rumors of this hot couples extra-duty activities are just baseless or something is really cooking!

Mangala Movie Review

Director : Tulasi Ram
Music Director : Vishwa
Producer : Tulasi Ram
Starring : Charmi, Subhash, Pradeep Rawat, Chitram Seenu and others...

It’s been quite sometime since we have seen a horror film in Telugu cinema. Mangala starring Charmi is one such film which has elements of horror and black magic. The film desperately tries to be a taut thriller and has its fine moments of spine chilling horror which catch you off-guard. But is that enough? Directed by Osho Tulasiram, the film brings together Charmi and Tulasiram once again after their earlier hit film, Mantra. The duo’s latest film, Mangala is about an actress who becomes a victim of a dreaded black magic spell and she has to save herself before the spell brings her closer to death.

Story line : Charmi stars as Ammulu, who’s made quite a name for herself as an actress. One day, a crazy fan of hers tries to meet her and in the process she misunderstands that he tried to molest her and she slaps him. Disheartened by this incident, he commits suicide. His father (Pradeep Rawat) tries his best to convince Ammulu to come and save his son who’s refusing to take medicine unless he meets his favourite actress and eventually he dies. Pradeep Rawat plans to take revenge for his son’s death by evoking a deadly spell of Black Magic which would mean a certain death for whom it’s being used. Charmi is the victim this time and the rest of the story is about how she tries to deal with the situation and whether she manages to save herself or not.

Good to watch : Charmi is the heart and soul of the film. She breathes life into her character and portrays fear to perfection. Her transformation from an innocent actress to a ‘possessed’ girl is proof enough of her acting talent. She shrieks her lungs out, freaks out her director who tries to outsmart her and literally lives her role throughout the film. The guy who played her confidant as Subbu delivers an honest performance. The sound effects in the beginning of the film and the background score raise the bar for this film which unravels as a well crafted thriller till the end of first half. Uttej, Saptagiri are good as the producer and assistant director of a film which goes haywire due to a crazy director’s antics.

What is bad: After some spine chilling moments in the first half, the film desperately tries to live up to the expectations when the actual ‘solving-the-problem’ act begins. The final act of the film is a major let down. Is it a little too much to ask for a larger-than-life drama and action to solve an issue as big as what Charmi has to face in the film? After almost ten reels of living through the horror, there’s hardly any good versus evil fight which would make you vouch for the heroine. Mangala is one of those films where the climax just spoils everything which the film has tried to achieve in the end. Moreover, the film unnecessarily tries to up the glam factor by inserting two raunchy numbers with an excuse that Charmi is an actress in the film! The much hyped Aghora factor in the film which is all the more prominent in the posters is a let down in the end.

Technical Review : The film scores high in terms of the background score and the sound effects. Music by Viswa is alright and the bum gyrations which Charmi seemed to have mastered for this film are nothing but a so-called ‘commercial element’ meant to attract the male species. Keeping aside the debate whether it’s good or bad, it does serve the purpose! Most of the film has a sepia tone and the cinematography is decent. Osho Tulasiram who wrote the story and screenplay apart from directing the film loses track somewhere in the middle of the film. While the story is well set up and it moves at a break neck speed till the end of first half, it begins to lag with endless drama while trying to reach the final act. But then, the film is a good attempt with a small crew and limited budget.

Tagline : Mangala promises a lot more than what it accomplishes and that’s its biggest fault. However, the silver lining on this black (magical) cloud is an incredible performance from Charmi and she holds the fort for most part of the film. And when a film of this magnitude ends up with an anti-climax, one begins to wonder why it had to be so alluring in the beginning! Perhaps no one would ever know who’s to blame; it would be a wise decision to blame the God for playing the spoilsport. Who said ‘Evil’ is bad? In a film like this, perhaps that would have been the saving grace. Amen.

Ahana Pellanta Review

Director : Tulasi Ram
Music Director : Vishwa
Producer : Tulasi Ram
Starring : Charmi, Subhash, Pradeep Rawat, Chitram Seenu and others...

There are certain similarities between Allari Naresh and Srihari. Both have established unique style of making audiences laugh out loud in almost impossible to smile situations and both wouldn’t mind doing character roles when necessary. In Aha Naa Pellanta, both compete to outdo each other, both as actors and characters. With both of them together, the movie promises a laugh riot and almost manages to keep it.

Story line : Subrahmanyam (Allari Naresh) is an intelligent, hardworking software engineer. He lives with his uncle (Ahuti Prasad), keeps the poster of Bill Gates in his room, spends most of his time with his girlfriend Madhu (Anita Hasnandani), and Busy Balraj (Brahmanandam). After getting drunk heavily one night, he wakes up with a girl – Sanjana ( Ritu Barmecha). Neither he nor does the girl remember how they got together, but both start to believe they did ‘it’. It isn’t before too long that the girl’s ‘goon’ brothers (Srihari, Subbaraju, Samrat), warn him of dire consequences if he doesn’t get married to their ‘innocent’ sister. No matter how hard he tries to escape the marriage, it seems he can’t evade the brothers’ eyes. Just when he has given up all hope and agrees to the forced marriage, he stumbles upon a secret that turns the tables on the brothers. Inspite of having the upper hand over the brothers, poor Subbu still finds himself in a drama of love and backbiting created by them. In order to know who wins in the end, you got to watch Aha Naa Pellantaon screen.

Good to Watch : Aha Naa Pellanta is a shameless comedy. It has innumerable scenes which generate different kinds of laughs – from the cheeky guffaws to complete ‘fall off seat’ loud laughs. Even though some could say that Srihari’s Telangana dialect has become too ‘normal’ he manages to utter some extremely funny words – just the words are enough to gives chuckles. Together with Brahmanandam, Srihari shoulders the responsibility of the movie, with some situations that can be seen only in Telugu Cinema. Of course it is unnecessary to say that Brahmanandam, when he has a good character, is just a synonym for comedy! Allari Naresh has a peculiar expression which by default looks confused and he makes use of it completely. Ritu Barmecha makes a nice entry into films, though she is required only to play the love interest of Naresh. Also cameo appearances from the likes of Venu Madhav, M.S. Narayana , Jaya Prakash Reddy, Vennela Kishore etc… add to the hilarious moments of the film. Anitha lokks glamorous in her limited role.

What is bad: Aha Naa Pellanta is heavily reminiscent of Hindi movie Welcome and has few scenes inspired from such comedies in Hindi. Problem is while the recent Hindi comedy movies have flimsy storylines, the progress of the story is effortless thanks to some well written and well acted scenes. Unfortunately, we have only well acted scenes (not all) here. For a comedy movie, Aha Naa Pellanta tries too hard to generate a love story between the lead couple. The good thing about Aha Naa Pellanta though is that at the end of the movie, you won’t mind it, because it gives your cheek bones enough exercise.

Technical Review: Because it is a comedy, Aha Naa Pellanta is heavily dependent on dialogues, which are for most parts, written well. However, some dialogues had to be muted, and few others were not as emotional as they could have been. Editing glitches were quite visible, and the overall texture of the movie was quite average. The sets, (sometimes supported by VFX), weren’t too impressive either. However, it had one or two songs that could be of some interest to the masses, though the film could have done without atleast one. First time director Veerabhadra, instead of relying on the script, banked on highly experienced actors who do not shy away from their responsibility. Koti background could have been better.

Tag Line : Aha Naa Pellanta could just be the movie for those who are looking for some good entertainment. It is easily a good Allari Naresh film in the recent times and also has bonus in the form of Srihari and Brahmanandam.

Atlast found smile on Ramcharan's face

He might be Mega Power Star for Mega followers but he is still the very young hero dealing with abnormal craze that has become a dead block for his growth. Undoubtedly ramcharan should have undergone severe mental agony after the loss of ‘Orange’ continued by stalling of ‘Merupu’ till the positive news on discussions about starting the next project with Sampat Nandi.

Every where there was news about various directors and story writers approaching ramcharan with numerous story lines but none getting finalized. The burden of living up to the expectations of ‘Magadheera’ is the daunting duty and we can’t get a second Kala Bhairava or a second Rajamouli. It is time alone that will make us forget the glory of ‘Magadheera’ and see ramcharan just as any other hero. Insiders say that, ramcharan regained the smile back on his face with Sampat’s mass storyline and let us wish that, this young director restore normalcy in Cherry’s strained professional life.
