Asin Replaces Deepika Padukone In Housefull 2

Deepika Padukone, who was supposed to play the female lead role in Housefull 2, the sequel to the hit comedy Housefull, has opted out of the project. Sources close to the film disclose that it was non-availability of dates that led to the decision. Now, the lanky actress has been replaced with Asin. Incidentally, Asin has been paired opposite Akshay Kumar for the first time. Sajid Khan, who directed the first part, will direct the sequel as well.

It is needless to say that Asin, who recently decided not be overtly choosy and pick the best of projects which are coming her way, grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
